- Rob MacKinnonMay 9, 2025I loved this movie as a kid. I was a 12-year old Captain Chaos for Halloween in 1981. I even owned the novelization (ordered from Scholastic Book Club at school - very educational). It holds up okay. Silly, goofy fun with more than a few jokes and set pieces that haven’t aged well, but I guess they worked in 1981. It’s a little weird that Jackie Chan is supposed to be Japanese, but hey, 1981. Overall a fun enough Hal Needham hangout.
