"The Phone" is a Soviet black and white animated film for children, which was created at the Soyuzmultfilm studio in 1944 by director Mikhail Tsekhanovskiy after the tale of Korney Ivanovich Chukovskiy. Korney Chukovskiy is called by various animals with unusual requests. He sends chocolate to the Elephant, galoshes to Crocodile. On Rhino's call Chukovskiy flies by plane to save the Hippo who fell into the swamp.
