Ouija: Origin of Evil Ratings & Reviews
- Monkey See! Monkey Review!!October 19, 2025TLDR -> If you’re into ghost stories, demonic entities, or the spirit world in general, this one’s worth your time. Just don’t let the rating fool you—evil doesn’t need an R to be entertaining. Good Watch!!! I walked into this expecting watered-down horror—PG-13 rating, teen-friendly frights, maybe a ghost with commitment issues. I braced for disappointment. What I got instead? A surprisingly effective thrill ride that punched above its rating and delivered more jump scares than some R-rated snoozefests. Sure, it borrows the usual exorcism toolkit: creepy kids, flickering lights, and the occasional Latin chant. But it works. The pacing keeps you hooked, the scares land, and the atmosphere is thick enough to cut with a crucifix. Is it flawless? Of course not. No horror film is. There are a few bumps—some predictable beats, a couple of “why would you go in there?” moments—but nothing that derails the fun. It’s like The Conjuring and Insidious had a PG-13 baby that actually inherited the good genes.
