Kholodnoe Zoloto
Directed by 'Hiki' Pyotr Struchkov1942. While the country's entire resources are focused on fighting Nazi Germany, gangs plundering gold mines operate in southern Yakutia. The largest of these is the elusive and ruthless Popov gang, which is collecting the stolen gold to stage a military coup in the Far East. Following their trail through the endless snow-covered taiga, a small NKVD detachment led by Senior Lieutenant Karasev sets out on their trail.
