Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat Ratings & Reviews
- CravanThePugilistNovember 8, 2025Probably my favourite musical of all time. I refused to see it live when I was, like, 4, because I was terrified of the giant head. (Similar issue when my parents took me to Luna Park. I just didn't f with big heads when I was a kid.) But I finally saw it live in 2022, & boy, I cried from the first song to the last. This version is spectacular, it would have been great to see Donny do it. Maria Friedman is great as the narrator, I love all the brothers (a few times a week, I just burst out with "REUBEN!!!" to keep my energy up), appreciate Richard Attenborough's corpse being carted around, Joan Collins goes full thirst trap mode, I mean, there's nothing to dislike here. Except that giant fucking head.
- CallumSeptember 28, 2025It's a little wacky, compostela 90s, over the top. But a good fun watch
