Cube²: Hypercube Ratings & Reviews
- Peter BickfordNovember 16, 2025The made-for-video sequel to one of the more interesting low-budget indie flicks of its decade features worse acting, lost any reality to the math puzzles, but ushered in what looks like hundreds of dollars of the worst CGI and VFX of all time. Oh, and the plot--while they went to pains to tie it together through labored monologues--makes absolutely no sense in the real world. Bah.
- ርልዪረSeptember 19, 2025This movie is kind of based like the first Cube movie except more like science fiction instead or horror mystery unlike the first. They could have added a lot more because it felt like too little actually happens and you would think in a scenario like that there would be next to endless stuff. Some scenes drag, some just confusing, some ridiculous and lacking common sense, however it is a pretty good movie. I always loved science fiction over plain horror, so i recommend if you like scifi, but its not exactly like the first cube movie so if that's all you want you probably won't like this.
- jackmeatJanuary 3, 2025My quick rating - 5.7/10. This one took the "MIGHT be possible" idea of the original Cube being a moving thing and went totally off the rails with parallel time frames and all kinds of quantum theories of how things in the cube are possible. So, if you can put the sheer impossibility of that aside, you have a decent sequel to the cult original.
