Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc Ratings & Reviews
- Josh AdamsOctober 25, 2025Chainsaw Man: Reze is a perfect film. It captures everything I love about the series — raw emotion, chaos, and heart — and delivers it with stunning animation and atmosphere. The relationship between Denji and Reze feels both tender and tragic, building beautifully until the heartbreaking finale. Every frame is packed with energy, and the soundtrack heightens every moment. It’s rare for an adaptation to hit all the right notes, but this one absolutely does. For me, it’s a flawless balance of action, emotion, and artistry — the best Chainsaw Man has ever been on screen.
- Corrine Kocjancic4d agoLots of chainsaw and bomb! An action packed back half, which balances the first half which is mostly relationship building. Poor Denji! They all just want his chainsaw heart.
- Muhammad Salman6d agoNeed me a Makima 🙏. I'm convinced MAPPA got some blackmail stuff on their employees because HOW THE FUCK did they animate these scenes cuh. And I speak for EVERYONE when I say that WE will let Reze manipulate us and take advantage of us. Seriously tho, I did NOT expect this movie to have one of the best action sequences of the year. I need whatever the hell these MAPPA animators are smoking, because HOW TF did they animate those scenes? I didn't even care about Chainsaw Man a few days ago. But then I saw the great reviews for this movie so I decided to binge Season 1 to prepare for the movie. And now here I am thinking that this might be my favorite action movie of the year. MAN, this movie was beautiful. And it's not just the action scenes that were good, but the story it's adapting (from the manga) is also soooooo good. Don't even get me started on the music. "In The Pool" made me cry ngl. Even thinking about listening to that song is making me feel depressed and anxious. Edit: WHY THE FUCK does that song sound so depressing, just thinking about listening to that song makes my chest start feeling heavy. This has never happened to me before. FUCK. GOD I MISS HER
- Nick6d agoreze arc turns fujimoto’s explosive story into an absolute cinematic win, mixing pulse-pounding action with real emotional weight. mappa’s animation shines, from the brutal, bloody devil battles to the quiet, bittersweet moments between denji and reze, making every scene feel alive. the way the movie balances raw chaos and heartbreaking drama—topped off with that gut-punch of a twist—sticks with you long after, proving once again why chainsaw man is one of the best anime/manga out there right now

- cultfilmlikerOctober 29, 2025I guess I’m a weeb now? Anime Pools (2025) Some overused plot points but they are executed brilliantly. And the animation is striking and exceptional. Beam is a sycophantic Hesh from Sealab 2021 Love the mixture of animation this series uses. It reminds me of Waking Life’s rotoscope style and I dig it. Honestly just a solid YA film with a lot of animated action
- Mio AkiyamaOctober 27, 2025I'm not someone who is afraid to put my biases to criticize a movie where it is deserved. That said, this is the first time in a while i can give a movie a solid 5/5 or 10/10 if I could. From start to finish, this was an absoloute masterpiece in every facet possible. While Fujimoto's work can be rather questionable at times, I can't help but have my eyes glued to the screen and enjoy the series.
- George BananzaOctober 28, 2025Tokyo chainsaw massacre.
- Rodney CrosslinOctober 28, 2025If your a fan of the series youll enjoy the movie!
- Jovon VillarasaOctober 25, 2025Chainsaw Man is back and this one goes hard! The opening’s a bit slow, but it doesn’t drags thanks to its sharp comedic timing. It’s well paced and doesn’t waste a single minute. Exactly what a setup arc should be. The soundtrack goes crazy, every track just hits and adds to the chaos and tension. I really liked the “City Mouse and Country Mouse” story too. It’s subtle but powerful and the way it loops back into the narrative and foreshadows everything is great. Once the action kicks in, it’s pure adrenaline until the end. Super hype!!
- Timeless CinemaOctober 24, 2025An action packed 2nd half makes this fun. As you shift from a romance narrative that misses the mark, before going into action overdrive. It's a gorgeous, straightforward animated action experience worth seeing on a big screen.
- RickOctober 23, 2025First anime I’ve seen in a theater and that shit ripped
