Sibling rivalry returns to torment young police officer Jane after her older sister Cassidy is released from the state hospital for the criminally insane. Cassidy shows an increasing interest in getting back her daughter, whom Jane has been raising. Unable to convince others that her sister is still dangerous; wanting to protect her niece, the young officer takes control and goes after her sister herself.
