5 Pictures of a Father

A prison officer collects model trains and longs for the open oceans. A Soviet cosmonaut sits in his space capsule in eternal orbit. And a guardian angel dances in the sky. In a sequence of tales 5 girls and women present their pictures of a father. The notions of absence and presence, longing and dreams tie the five stories together. Through staged tableaux, drawings, graphics and archive material the stories emerge.
