Ninlawan Pinyo is the matriarch of a Thai American family, who hustled for her fortune by running a naem (pork sausage) factory in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The documentary short is a character study of Ninlawan, her long distance relationship with her family in America, and her relationship with the people around her at the factory who call her "Mom."
