Each drawing is treated as a fiche whose information is gradually scanned as if the viewer were reading a circular book. The characters are represented in a variety of parodied cartoon styles which may or may not suggest narrative events. The film's 'content' is the formal analogy between the arrangement of the characters and the animation technique of cycled sequence drawing.
