Dedicated to renowned dancers, Patricia McBride and Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux, "Transcendence: Hold On" is a short tribute dance film set to music by modern Toronto composer, Laura Sgroi. The dance film is choreographed and danced by members of Charlotte Ballet I Company Dancers: Sarah Lapointe, Lexi Johnston, James Kopecky, and Joshua James Hall, and recorded music performed by The Grigori String Quartet consisting of Violinist, Stelth Ng; Violinist, M Gillian Carrabré; Violist, Matt Antal; and Cellist, Tess Crowther. Each instrumentalist is represented by a different unique dancer. Filmed in New York, Lake Chautauqua, and Toronto, Ontario, "Transcendence: Hold On" is a collaboration between Triple Pointe Media and Charlotte Ballet.
