A humorous fairy tale about what will happen if the dragon is defeated not by a brave prince but by an ordinary Janko. The joy of rescuing the princess does not last long, the bridegroom is to be a local village boy who, in addition to patches, also lacks good manners. Princess flees to the real Prince Aegon, but discovers that it's not the royal title, but a good heart, that matters.
