A race of beings, the Zornarians are charged with the protection of a powerful crystal known as the heart of the cosmos. Zord a young, courageous Zornarian has been chosen by his race to stand guard at the gateway that connects all realms. Xylo is leader of a group of Xenosian rebels. Driven by his need for power attempt to claim the heart of the cosmos for his own.
