Speed Devils
Directed by Joseph HenaberyMartin Gray (Paul Kelly) and Dan Holden (Russell Hardie) are rival race-car drivers, and both crash in a big race and decide to give up racing and become partners in an auto-repair business. Pat Corey (Marguerite Churchill), a reporter on the local newspaper, has been Dan's girlfriend but she falls in love with Martin. The latter refuses to accept any city-repair work which involves kickback payments to a couple of crooked politicians, but Dan is apparently willing to do so. The politicians plot to split the partners by showing Dan that Martin is romancing Pat.
