Sky Over Holland
Directed by John FernhoutDocumentary, shot on 70mm, about the skies over Holland. The changing formations of white or dark ominous clouds hanging above polders, rivers, bulb fields, cities and villages are displayed in a spectacular way. The characteristic Dutch scenery, filmed over different seasons, blend into paintings by Dutch masters, such as Vermeer, Rembrandt, Van Gogh en Mondriaan. Awarded a Golden Palm in Cannes for Best Short Film.
