Jack is a disabled and autistic man but also incredibly gifted. He is looked after by his sister Mary since their mother was killed in a car accident. It is a difficult life for Mary as caring for Jack is a 24/7 job and very demanding. Mary finds that she has had to put her own life on hold and sacrifice many things for Jack, including a possible relationship with her close friend David. But when Jack's gifts start to appear more than anyone could ever imagine, Mary has to question who is actually sacrificing more for the other. And when a doctor appears out of the blue to see Mary, he brings with him astonishing news that will change Mary's life forever.
