The narrative folds back on itself at least three times in the first half hour, cutting from the frame to show we are watching Kerrigan filming a movie, and then doing it again, so we're not sure if we're watching a movie about a movie about a movie directed by Lodge Kerrigan, or just a movie about a movie from him.
