Piratas y libélulas

Directed by Isabel de Ocampo
2013    72m

In a troubled neighborhood in a southern city, a group of teenagers and gypsies try to put up their own version of "Romeo and Juliet." But in the middle of the year a young man accidentally dies in a shooting, which provokes an internal debate about the violence and the end of the play among the members of the theater group. The intervention of her Language and Literature teacher and her innovative educational method is key to resolving the conflict. Five years later we meet them again to check their progress, their physical changes and especially the evolution in their way of thinking.
