On the eve of the opening of an exhibition featuring a unique exhibit "Altyn Adam" (eng. "Golden Man") from Kazakhstan's largest museum, the artifact goes missing. The police have only 24 hours to find and return the valuable piece. This thrilling comedy-drama follows the investigation of the robbery. After the "Altyn Adam" relic disappears, Captain Orazbayev arrives at the museum to investigate. Upon inspecting the crime scene, he finds the prime suspect - a guy named Nyshan. Although the young man quickly confesses to the crime, his strange behavior leads the detective to believe that Nyshan is under hypnosis.
