Do Not Marry, Girls
Directed by Yevgeni GerasimovReturning from a trip abroad, the chairman of the collective farm sees how the girls, dreaming of getting married, leave the collective farm for the city. He decides to create a folk song ensemble to promote local girls and at the same time convinces the local authorities of the need to build a new farm. The chairman's plan succeeds: attracted by the work on the new farm and the beautiful, cheerful girls, the young guys poured into the village.
