However, the people who took the girl for upbringing decided that she should perform any feasible work that could provide them with a profit. Therefore, they took Vasilisa to the terrible forest and locked her alone in the dugout. The girl was instructed to sew blankets from fabric flaps intended for sale in the local market. The baby has to work tirelessly for days on end.
