Life Stories is a documentary about Oliver 'Smiles' Green, a spry ninety seven year old man. At the tender age of twelve he purchased his first boat for twenty five dollars and spent the next fifty three years earning his living as a fisherman. Since his retirement,he has traded full lobster traps for a full dinner table. This is a true human interest story about a man who means everything to a culture. Smiles Green is a brother, a soul mate, a father and the grandfather of an entire island.
