There, they are discovered by her fiancé, Don Pero, Duque de Toro. Don Mendo thief poses as not to stain her honor and is enclosed. Don Mendo escapes with the help of his friend Moncada, and tries to carry out his revenge against Magdalena, posing as a minstrel to approach her.
