Directed by Kōsei SaitōIn the latest Edo era, royalistic Shishi (patriots) who tried to overthrow the Bakuhu gathered in Kyoto. On the other hand, Shinsengumi was formed to oppress Shishi, and the fight between them had been getting more and more fierce. One day, a man on a horse showed up and saved Shishi from Shinsengumi's cold-blooded swords. He, Tanzen Kurata (Ken Matsudaira), was a lone wolf who wore a black cloth on his face and was called Kurama Tengu.
