Directed by Cate ShortlandJoy lives with her family in Australia. She hangs out at the mall with her friends, shoplifts for fun, kisses boys and teases them sexually, and gets into fights. Eventually she returns to an angry home, where she goes through a range of emotions while putdowns and comments from her and her parents scroll across the screen in bold writing.
