Directed by Harry PielJonny Burck is a young, heavily indebted sportsman who was only able to protect his racehorse "Europe" from the bailiff's access. He is training with "Europe" at a secret location - he wants to put the horse into the race as an outsider for the "Nice Grand Prix". But that calls a band of insidious racing pushers on the scene, who actually manage to seize "Europe" with the help of a corner lawyer. With the help of the young American Ursel Mattig, who not only takes a liking to the horse, but rather to its owner, Jonny takes up the fight - a rapid chase begins.
