The film is concerned with the restoration and reopening of the Olivetti store in Piazza San Marco in Venice to document the recovery of a historic and meaningful place. It is the place where Carlo Scarpa combines his attention to detail with the most extreme ability in the use and combination of materials. It represents a unique example in the panorama of restorations and installations of the 1950s, both in Italy and internationally.
