Directed by Laila Pakalnina"We go to people's homes, ask them to go outside and we film them through their own windows - this is how we are making films about people, their homes, and about filmmaking." Pakalnina and her cinematographer position their selected subjects and ask them to hold still for a minute outside their homes, while they film them from the inside, through the (usually closed) windows, but sometimes also through open ones or through glass doors. An experimental hybrid documentary that celebrates the home environment in a highly original poetic fashion.
