Directed by Derrick Yung-Te WuThe program of Heavenkid was adapted from Di Zi Gui, a well-known secular Chinese Classics based on the ancient teaching of the Chinese philosopher Confucius. Di Zi Gui outlines the standards for being a good student and child. Confucius believed that moral principles, virtues, and discipline should be the very first lessons taught to a child, and that a child needs to practice them daily. Heavenkid applied the theatrical 3D approach to the production of this educational television program, replacing dogmatic preaching approaches. This 3D animation with lively entertainment serves as a tool of moral educational in a subtle manner.
