A remote village is terrorized my a Dacoit Shankar Singh who loots people for grains he is killed by the village Thakur and his younger brother Kishan SIngh swears for revenge.Kishan Singh plans to kill Thakur and his family but his loyal servant Sher Khan manages to elope with his twin daughters Sita and Gita.While the Dacoits are chasing Sher Khan he looses one of the twin who lands up with the courtesan Chandabai while he raises the other.Sher Khan decides to rebel on Kishan Singh but his hands get cut off its when his the daughter raised by him decides to ride his horse cart and is known as Dilruba Tangewali.Years later a handsome youngster lands in the village and tries to inspire Dilruba but he turns out to be a cop DSP Vijay Singh whose come stop the movement of Dacoit's in the region.Dilruba finds the tale from Sher Khan about her parents death and decides to find Kishan Singh but Vijay warns her no to take law in her hand.Kishan Singh finds that Reshma whose raised by Chandabai is lookalike of Dilruba and decides to use her as scapegoat to stop Dilruba and Vijay.
