The Italian escape artist Silvio Spaventa and his partner Rina Pera perform a bold and dangerous act at a circus. Watching the deed of Spaventa one night, a jeweler and a criminologist make a bet that he can't break into a very solid safe. When Spaventa succeed in opening the safe a gang of crooks get to hear about this and make new plans for Spaventa.
