The heritage of whiskey in the United States is deep-rooted into Kentucky, so much so that there are still individuals that believe bourbon can only be made in that State. In fact, bourbon can be made anywhere and Colorado is doing a pretty darn good job of it. The filmmaker trio of Steve Akley, Bo Cumberland and Susie Cousins has once again joined forces to tell the stories of five Colorado distilleries (Deerhammer Distilling, Syntax Spirits, 10th Mountain Disitlling, Distillery 291 and Leopold Bros.) that collectively shed some light on the exciting things happening on the Colorado whiskey scene.
