No wonder his marriage is in crisis and his children Fee and Jonas are annoyed as hell. Finally, his wife Petra gives him an ultimatum: Matthias has exactly one week to prove himself to be a loving and understanding husband. After that it's finally over. In this situation, Tom surprisingly bursts into his life: his identical twin brother, of whose existence Matthias knew nothing until now. The unemployed actor and brash womanizer is the exact opposite of the stiff speech therapist. When Tom hears about his brother's marital problems, he makes him an offer: he wants to take over the job of speech therapist for a while so that Matthias can devote himself entirely to saving his marriage. But things don't quite go as planned. When the unsuspecting Petra meets Tom, she mistakes him for her husband and drags him home. She is surprised that her stuffy husband suddenly wears a leather jacket and orders an unusual pizza for dinner. But she quickly takes to these changes. With his easy-going, humorous, but at the same time sensitive nature, Tom quickly gains the trust of Fee and Jonas - and Petra also seems to see her husband with different eyes again. In view of these positive effects, Matthias would like to extend the role reversal until Petra has put the divorce plans out of her head. In the meantime, he himself encounters surprising challenges in Tom's role: He has to stand in for his brother in an audition at the theater and meets Pola. His brother's ex-lover is not on good terms with the Hallodri. With cunning and a talent for improvisation, Matthias tries to master his role. Of course, it's only a matter of time before the fraternal mumbo-jumbo is exposed in a high arc.
