Ates
Directed by Haluk PiyesAtes and Yavuz are two close friends in Tophane (a poor neighborhood in Istanbul). Yavuz, a religious man is a taxi driver and wants to avenge his brother who died of drug abuse. Ates lives with the dream of being a theater actor. He is against all the injustices which often get into him trouble, but he changes completely when he meets Aleyna, who flees to Istanbul while forced, by her family to marry to someone she does not want.
