Three would be rockers Chazz, Rex and Pip, known as The Lone Rangers plan to play their demo on a recording company, but then they're turned down rudely. Then they decide to try the famous rock n' roll radio station, but are not accepted either. Then they decide arm themselves with squirt guns and take the station hostage for not playing their demo. But the three get more than what they have bargained for.

I have to specifically call out the TV Guide review that says the movie doesn’t know what it’s making fun of. The movie is parodying rock culture, the entire time, for over an hour. The only way you could miss this is if you just didn’t watch the movie, so that might be the dumbest review possible. Maybe they were trying to say the jokes went over their head, but as a lifelong heavy metal fan a lot of the jokes are deep cuts and still land to this day, but I don’t even think that knowledge is needed to enjoy the absurdity. Extremely underrated comedy.
