February 4, 1974: Patty Hearst, granddaughter of William Randolph Hearst, was kidnapped by the Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA), who first demanded a prisoner swap for Hearst, then, as it failed, demanded $6 million worth of food for the poor of the Bay Area.

Snide glorification of violence, with much imformation omitted. So what was the upshot of this film? I don't understand the throughline. Was it a glorification of revolutionary tactics, and a dig at Patty Hearst for reneging on her pro-SLA statements? It feels like that, with the cheesy rock guitar soundtrack. Well edited, but ultimately dodgy. Maybe the last shot was a bitch slap to Patty because she refused to participate?
