A pretty good adaptation and a pretty good movie! I appreciate that Ryle is neither a cartoon bad guy, nor let off the hook.
The way the relationship between Lily and Atlas buds, blossoms, and flourishes feels very well paced and believable.
Young Atlas is like a less attractive Logan Lerman, and Grown Atlas is like a less attractive Garret Hedlund
Apparently there's some controversy surrounding this so I guess have some reading to do.
