A couple of years ago, I quit watching Season 1, a few episodes in, because I didn't like the characters. I gave it another chance and pushed through the oddness of the show. I am glad I did. It's actually a really good show and you learn to love the characters for all the reasons you disliked them at first. Gary Oldman is perfect for this show and is hilarious with his wit and lack of care in what people think. One thing that drives me crazy throughout all episodes is MI5 apparently doesn't issue guns to their agents and everybody else has them. Seems counterproductive. Then again, I wouldn't issue these characters guns either. Also, they play the theme song WAY too much! It becomes irritating to hear it over and over even during the espisodes. It's definitely a binge-worthy show and you are eager for the next season.
