This is Lovecraftian horror at its finest. There is an overwhelming massive complex universe of species and at the centre of the story is a small fight against tyranny. The performances were fine and the CGI integrates really well within the movie. I was prepared to hate this movie because I thought it was going to be more Netflix slop but actually found myself hooked. Really superb but then again I am a sci-fi nut so anything that presents a universe on the scale of Asimov or Herbert is going to get the nod from me.
