This campy romp has lots of charm. A light hearted adventure with good chunk self awareness. It knows what it is, and doesn't aspire to more. Neat twists, a good pacing and a likable cast, punching above weight class, make it a strong and fun watch. Also less formulaic than it's follow-ups. Highly recommended for group watches. Ironically fun rating 4.0/5.0. Intended filmmaking rating 3.0/5.0.
