Based in 1970s New York, this show gives a raw, gritty portrayal of the prostitution business that was so publicly executed at that time. As a result of police crack-down, the characters are forced to venture towards relatively safer and more discreet forms of the same work.

This is a superb series. So informative, impressive, moving, funny, compelling, beautifully written, directed, acted.
