A young family is visited by ghosts in their home. At first the ghosts appear friendly, moving objects around the house to the amusement of everyone, but then they turn nasty and start to terrorize the family, eventually "kidnapping" their youngest daughter.

It is just a great time — spooky, weird, and full of that classic ’80s vibe. The haunted-house stuff still feels creepy, the effects hold up surprisingly well, and it’s got some genuinely fun moments mixed in with the scares. Not perfect, but definitely a blast to watch.
