Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore
Professor Albus Dumbledore knows the powerful, dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts magizoologist Newt Scamander to lead an intrepid team of wizards and witches. It took me 20 mins to figure out they replaced John Depp. Such a shock from the last 2 movies for the whole character. The stark differences between even the looks left me lost. For this I automatically removed 2 stars.
I wish they would have explored more into what happens at the end… answer I’m sure I’ll have to read a book to find out.
Also the Apperations are over used. Wand battles are okay but lacking in creativity.
This is not the same wizarding world from Harry Potter.
But with all that said the movie is full of new experiences and a beautiful story. Writing team did a wonderful job… but the other teams seem to have been lacking a bit.
Overall with the watch and maybe very few years. Didn’t quite live up to the same expectations as the Harry Potter’s series.
