⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – The Mandalorian – This Is the Way to Do Star Wars
The Mandalorian might just be the crown jewel of the modern Star Wars universe — a show that manages to feel both fresh and classic at the same time. It’s a lone-wolf western in space, where every dusty planet is another frontier town and every duel feels like it could echo through the galaxy. Temuera Morrison may have reignited the flame as Boba Fett, but it’s Pedro Pascal’s stoic Mandalorian who truly made the armour iconic again.
And of course, there’s Grogu — the little green phenomenon the world lovingly calls Baby Yoda. His presence transformed the show from just another blaster-and-jetpack adventure into something genuinely heartfelt. Watching a hardened bounty hunter grow to protect a small, fragile being gave Star Wars the emotional depth it had been missing since the original trilogy.
The production is cinematic, the gunfights are perfectly paced, and the respect for Star Wars lore is clear. It builds the world outward — from bounty hunters and Mandalorian creeds to the shadow of the fallen Empire — without ever breaking what came before. With sci-fi heavyweights like Katee Sackhoff, Carl Weathers, and Chris Bartlett adding their weight to the cast, it’s no wonder this became the new benchmark for franchise storytelling.
Three seasons in and still not enough — this isn’t just a continuation of Star Wars; it’s its evolution.
