22 Jump Street leans all the way into sequel absurdity and somehow makes it work. The meta jokes hit more than they miss, the action is bigger, and the chemistry between Hill and Tatum is still the main event.
It doesn’t try to be smarter than it is, and that’s part of the charm. Dumb fun with just enough self-awareness to keep it clever.
