Hired to probe seaside village attacks, mutant monster hunter Geralt unravels an age-old conflict between humans and sea people that threatens war between kingdoms. Aided by allies, he must solve the mystery before hostilities escalate.
SPOILER: GERALT'S CARPET DOES NOT MATCH HIS DRAPES! 🚨🚨🚨 Some sort of crazy R-Rated Little Mermaid adaptation...to the extent that a sea witch sings a song to a her niece mermaid princess about giving up her fishiness for a human prince. 🤷‍♂️ Then she turns into a (fucking awesome looking) giant tentacle monster....the last battle fucking slaps! 🤌💋 It's so overt that I felt like I was missing some in-joke for pointing it out, but I've never played the Witcher games, and I guess Little Mermaid is public domain so can be adapted freely like Winnie the Pooh. (No mentions of dinglehoppers though, thank Triton.) Still, it's worth a watch for the animation alone, which is fantastic. Like, absolutely gorgeous. All due respect to Doug Cockle, but Henry Cavill still has the market cornered on the perfect delivery of the word "FUCK." Better than season 3 of The Witcher was! (Mostly because The Witcher is in it for more than 11 minutes.)
