A somewhat-daffy book editor on a rail trip from Los Angeles to Chicago thinks that he sees a murdered man being thrown from the train. When he can find no one who will believe him, he starts to investigate on his own, but all he accomplishes is getting the killer to pursue him.

A classic film that benefits greatly from the natural chemistry between all the lead actors. Wilder and Pryor have never been funnier. Even though it is from the 1970s, it still holds up as a thrilling, comedic force of nature.
