In the Pacific Northwest town of Noyo, townspeople support the building of a salmon cannery, but fisherman worry that it will destroy their livelihood. Humanoid sea creatures start killing residents and raping women. It's up to the townsfolk and visiting biologist Dr. Susan Drake to fight back and fend them off.

Trashy, sleazy and occassionally gross, this Roger Corman masterpiece is still wild after all these years. Some terrific gore and impressive make-up, although the creatures with the long arms is a weird choice.
