Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood
As Hollywood's Golden Age is winding down during the summer of 1969, television actor Rick Dalton and his stunt double Cliff Booth endeavor to achieve lasting success in Hollywood while meeting several colorful characters along the way.
Every single actor - & this movie is fkn stacked - kills it. & what an ending! I remember seeing it for the first time in the cinema - it took some self control to not stand up & start applauding when THAT happens - self control I didn't possess back when I saw Inglourious Basterds &, uh, THAT happens... I don't think Tarantino is really capable of making a movie that doesn't get the full 10 stars. (I haven't seen his Grindhouse movie yet because of a genuine fear I will be proven wrong there.) Either way, this movie is a masterpiece. I'm too invested in Pulp Fiction & Basterds personally, but maybe if I was being completely objective, this could be considered his crowning achievement? Idk but full stars either way.
Selah.
